The Android version of ChatGPT is finally here.
Android Version Release#
Hello everyone, today OpenAI officially released the Android version of ChatGPT. However, although it has been promoted in many places, the provided addresses are all for Google Play, and many people cannot access it at all.
I tried downloading it from there myself, but it showed as incompatible. I tried downloading from third-party websites, but either it hasn't been released yet or some of them were bundled with other things. After a long struggle, I finally extracted the APK installation package for everyone. You can click on it to directly install.

Experience#
As for the experience, it is the same as iOS, not much functionality. If your account is a member, you can use GPT-4, but regular accounts can only use version 3.5.
Many people are definitely concerned about how to pay for the Android version since iOS can directly pay and activate membership through Apple ID, and we can't use Google Play.
Plus Subscription#
You can directly pay through the web version with a bank card. It requires a Visa card. However, just like before, don't expect it to work with domestic bank cards. It won't work!
