Mac iOS#
Most of the software mentioned here is for Windows, as Mac only requires one software called "dowin4". The iOS platform has stricter regulations, and the only good option is "YouTiaoXiaZai". It used to be a paid software, but now it cannot be found in the App Store. If you still want to use it, you can only install an older version through signing. I have mentioned this before during my period of ignorance.
Android#
On the Android platform, there are several video parsing software available, but most of them do not have official websites and are not particularly well-known. The only two worth recommending are "BILIBILIAS" and "Seal". The former focuses on Bilibili, while the latter integrates multiple open-source projects and supports various websites. You can keep them as backup options.
Windows#
Today, I have organized everything according to platforms, making it easier for novice users to find the right tools for themselves. I have removed open-source command-line tools like "yt dlp" and complicated project software, aiming to provide you with the best options.
I have already introduced most of these software individually, so let's briefly go through them.
Bilibili#
There are many Bilibili video download tools available, but "bilidown" is the best one I have come across. It supports batch downloading, up to 8K videos, and can download covers, danmaku, and subtitles. The best part is that if you have a Bilibili premium membership, you can download everything.
WeChat Video#
There are only a few options available for downloading WeChat Video, and the most recommended one is "WechatVideoSniffer". It is simple, convenient, and supports high-definition downloads.
Live Stream Replays#
For downloading live stream replays from DingTalk, there was a time when it didn't work, but in September, a user named "52" created a new tool, making it much more convenient for office workers.
Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book)#
For downloading content from Xiaohongshu, you can use "XHS". It has been gaining popularity recently due to its high-quality content and comprehensive features. General Platforms#
For downloading from multiple platforms, I highly recommend five options: "ShanDou", "xdm", "crtubget", "4kvideodownloader", and "Hitomi".
Based on my experience, if you want to download videos from foreign websites, use "4kvideodownloader". Free users can download up to 10 videos per day, which should be sufficient. For downloading videos from Chinese websites, you can use "ShanDou" or "crtubget". The former is free, while the latter allows 100 free downloads. If you are unsure whether a video can be downloaded, use "xdm" or "Hitomi".
